I fix computers and I make them make noises. I’m from Ohio, currently in Northern California and plotting my escape to the Pacific Northwest. I’ve spent several years in Northern California and culturally it’s just not for me.
I love old computers, particularly those with processors that aren’t x86. I also have a genuine and unironic love of toasters, and of sauces made with butter. My favourite is Béarnaise.
When it comes to music, I’ll listen to pretty much anything, but I’m drawn to the weird and technical stuff. Current favourites include 1980s King Crimson (especially Three of a Perfect Pair, but also Discipline and Beat), Mr. Bungle, Sun Ra, Venetian Snares, Tigran Hamasyan, and Hella. Hm, maybe I should make a page about the music I like…
